In order to be eligible to vote in the local elections on 21 March, you need to be registered at the Gemeente by 5 February. After registering, the Gemeente will send you a voting pass (stempas) in the first week(s) of March. If you are not registered you cannot vote. This week is your last chance to register. De Gemeente has walk-in hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 8.30 – 12.30 and on Thursdays from 13.30 – 19.00. They will hand you a set of questions on an A4 sheet of paper to fill out and you will be required to bring a number of documents. For concise instructions, see the website.
