On Thursday 16 January 2020, the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and UM are organising the Conference Internationalisation with the theme ‘Borderless education as the driver of the region’.
It takes place at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo (Sint Jansweg 20, 5928RC Venlo), from 10.30 – 16.30.

The purpose of this conference is to highlight both the added value of and recent interesting developments in the field of internationalisation.
The conference offers an inspiring and interactive programme. After a word of welcome by President Prof. dr. Martin Paul and Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo CEO Saskia Goetgeluk the programme continues with a panel discussion on the European Universities initiative with representatives from the European Commission, the YUFE alliance and the ECIU University alliance. Subsequently, you can choose from various breakout sessions. After the lunch, there will be a presentation by Regional Minister Joost van den Akker.
