Workshop: ERC Consolidator Independent Researcher Grant

If you consider applying for an ERC Consolidator Independent Researcher Grant, the ERC Consolidator Grant Workshop organised at the 24 October might be something for you.
This workshop provides more in-depth information and is a follow up of the general information session, which took place on 18 May 2019.

The workshop is for excellent researchers (7-12 years after promotion) with an excellent idea for frontier research, who consider applying for an ERC Consolidator Independent Researcher Grant (max. 2 mln euros over a period of max. 5 years).

During the workshop, detailed knowledge on how to write an ERC Consolidator Grant is provided. Important issues that will be addressed are:

  • What is ground-breaking challenging frontier research?
  • What constitutes an excellent researcher?
  • Writing an ERC Consolidator Grant proposal.
  • Evaluation Procedure.
  • From high-gain/high-risk idea to challenging proposal.
  • Demonstrating feasibility.
  • Writing outstanding personal track records.

The workshop is in English. The maximum number of participants for the workshop is 24. Before entering the workshop, we will ask you to write your funding ID and to provide your CV and personal track record in ERC format.

You can register online. By 27 September you will receive an email if you can participate in the training and more information about the ‘assignment’ and the workshop.
