On 25 January 2019 an audit panel visited FASoS to evaluate the MA Media Studies: Digital Cultures (MSDC) for the NVAO re-accreditation. The panel enjoyed the sessions with MSDC staff, students, alumni, and management which took place in an open atmosphere. The panel concluded with positive and constructive feedback, and we are looking forward to the panel’s formal report with confidence.
The panel applauded the MSDC self-evaluation report for its clarity and openness, which was sent in preparation of the visit. Compliments were made for the intellectually stimulating environment that is offered by the programme in which staff and students focus on highly important issues in contemporary society. MSDC made a good impression as an ambitious programme in a very dynamic area of study.
The NVAO will take a decision on re-accreditation at the end of 2019 or beginning of 2020 based on the panel report.
