The Maastricht tourist office (VVV) will now offer the Maastricht University Arts & Heritage tour, which takes visitors along some of Maastricht University buildings. This new collaboration between Maastricht University and the Maastricht tourist office will be kicked off on Thursday 27 November in the presence of our dean Rein de Wilde and Alderman Mieke Damsma.
Many of the offices, faculties and departments of Maastricht University are housed in prominent inner city buildings. In fact, every building has its own character and particular history, and one will therefore sense a different atmosphere in each one of them. This certainly makes it worth taking a close look at these buildings and their architecture. But there is more: behind the façades of most buildings of Maastricht University unique artworks are on view as well.
