Pick up your hard copy of the FASoS Strategic Plan

A while ago, we announced in the FASoS Weekly that the Strategic Plan for 2021-2025 has been finalised.

Besides the online version of the plan, we have also printed hard copies of the plan. We wanted to festively present the plan and give you the hard copies in person during a presentation on the day of the FASoS Christmas party. Unfortunately, due to the new and more restrictive corona measures, this is no longer possible.

SG lecture: Systemic Power and Everyday Racism, on 24 November

This year’s Tanslecture will be given by Philomena Essed on the notion of ‘systemic racism’ which has, in the wake of Black Lives Matter, opened eyes in mainstream, policy and business arenas.

In her lecture, she will address that racism knowledge, grounded in a thorough understanding of everyday racism, can predict racism scenarios and identify which interventions can be effective… or not.

As of 22 November, you can visit the FASoS Front Office digitally on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 10.00 and 11.00.

You can ask your study-related questions to the Front Office via Zoom: https://maastrichtuniversity.zoom.us/j/6302969437 (Meeting ID: 630 296 9437).

The Front Office makes use of a digital waiting room, so it might be the case that you have to wait a little bit before you can ask your questions.
