The Studienkolleg zu Berlin is a joint initiative of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation) and the Hertie Foundation, supported by the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin and the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. By means of this programme, the two foundations and partner institutions want to strengthen the “European dimension” in the thinking of young people on whose decisions the future shape of Europe is likely to depend.
