Two positions within the NWO-funded research project led by Dr Giselle Bosse, Department of Political Science are available:
- Position I: EU arms exports
- Position II: EU relations with Eastern Partnership countries

Job Profile
The research assistant will have the following tasks/ opportunities:
– background research and data collection (Position I: EU arms exports; Position II: EU relations with Eastern Partnership countries);
– logistic support for organising, conducting and transcribing research interviews;
– administrative support (help with the organisation of research trips, workshops, website maintenance, etc.);
– regular liaison with project leader, other student assistants and research associates;
– integrate in the project’s research environment and international network;
– participation in research trips, conferences and/or joint publications if deemed necessary and adequate.
Qualifications:
– a strong interest in research;
– enthusiasm about the research topic;
– familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SPSS (desired by not conditional).
Terms of contract:
– project-based, flexible working hours (3-5 hours p/w) to easily combine project work with your MA studies;
– initial contract of 1-2 months starting in February 2015, renewal subject to performance/ project demands;
– flexible working desk can be made available upon request;
– remuneration based on InterUM contract rates
