We are looking for an interim Programme Director for the MA Globalisation and Development Studies, to take over the daily management of the programme between 1 February – 30 June 2021, temporarily replacing Lauren Wagner, who will be on leave.
Tasks involve the daily management of the programme, including inter alia:
- Coordination of teaching staff and interaction with other internal players such as OMT, the Board of Examiners, MarCom, Finance, Faculty Management, etc;
- Inform, instruct and evaluate course coordinators and teaching assistants;
- Representative functions regarding PR, recruitment and alumni activities;
- Communication with students.
We are looking for an academic staff member who:
- Is enthusiastic about teaching and the organisation of education at our Faculty;
- Holds a PhD degree;
- Has prior experience with teaching in this programme OR with (co-)managing educational programmes at FASoS (i.e. as programme director, coordinator of a Minor programme, or similar);
- Holds the BKO certificate;
- Is a team-player and has strong managerial skills.
The selected candidate is expected to start on 1 February 2021. The remuneration previewed for this position is 100 solver hours.
