Candidates must be socially committed and must demonstrate this commitment in a paper on how their research relates to society. The fellowship is open to all academic disciplines. The deadline for nominations is Sunday 1 May. The deadline for full applications is Wednesday 15 June.

Please note that the following criteria must also be met:

• Candidates must receive their Ph.D. at a Dutch university in the period between 15 June 2015 and 15 June 2017 (final approval of their thesis must be granted no later than 31 December 2016).
• Candidates must be socially committed and must demonstrate this commitment in a paper on how their research relates to society.
