The Alumni Fund supports scientific research at UM and focuses on projects with a positive social impact that bring together science and tomorrow’s entrepreneurship. The fund has published a call for proposals and urges scientists at UM to apply for a grant before 15 September 2018. The maximum amount of financial support that can be requested is €10,000. A feeling of pride, awareness of the importance of science and education and the role of Maastricht University in shaping ambitions, interests and careers of its graduates and future generations, are driving a growing number of graduates to give back to their Alma Mater. Donations from the alumni community are pooled in the Alumni Fund, which is administered by the Limburg University Fund/SWOL.
