ZEIT Foundation call for Beyond Borders PhD fellowships

The ZEIT Foundation opened a BEYOND BORDERS call for scholarships for different stages of PhD research.

It supports international junior researchers in the social sciences and humanities whose research addresses questions surrounding borders and boundaries in past and present times. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange in the social sciences and humanities. The 2022 focus is Borders, Migration and Knowledge.

Fulbright grants for (pre)doctoral research

As part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Programme, Fulbright Schuman awards scholarships to European citizens to study or conduct research in any academic field at an accredited U.S. institution for a period between four months and one academic year (9 months).

89 Netherlands and Studio Europa Maastricht seek research officers

89 Netherlands, based at Maastricht University, and Studio Europa Maastricht have launched two calls for research officers (master’s students and PhD researchers at UM) to join their programmes.

They seek 5 officers per programme who will focus on research related to Climate or Democracy. This opportunity offers students the chance to work on themes aligned with their research and gain experience translating their findings into policy advice.

Internship opportunity at Jan van Eyck

The Jan van Eyck Academie is looking for an intern to help with the organisational matters of the annual Open Studios event taking place on 23 – 26 June and 1 – 3 July 2021.

The internship covers the period from 1 March 2021 until mid-July 2021 (end date upon mutual agreement). From 1 March to 1 June, you are required to work 16 to 20 hours per week. From 1 June to 1 July, you are expected to work for at least 24 hours per week.
