Vacancy: member of the Assessment Support Team

The Assessment Support Team (AST) is looking for a new member to start on 1 September 2022.

The new member will be expected to participate in all regular AST activities and meetings. The position will be rewarded with 80 Solver hours per year, and the selected candidate will be appointed for three years.

Vacancy: PhD Representative in the Graduate School Advisory Board

The Graduate School is looking for a new PhD Representative in the Graduate School Advisory Board (GSAB) from 1 September 2022 (please expect some transitional activities before then) for a period of two years.

A description of the tasks can be found here.

Apply before 13 May by sending an email including a brief statement in which you present yourselves to the fellow PhDs. This will be forwarded when announcing the election and candidates.

Open call for Chair EPC BA Digital Society

Please consider the vacancy for Chair of the Educational Programme Committee (EPC) BA Digital Society. The main task of an EPC is to monitor and evaluate the quality of the programme(s) it is linked to.

Interested candidates are invited to send a CV and a short motivation letter/email by Tuesday 10 May to r.dirix@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

The selected candidate is expected to start on 1 September 2022 and will be appointed for a period of three years.

Vacancy: MACCH director

The Faculty Board is looking for a new director for the interfaculty research centre MACCH (Maastricht Centre for Arts and Culture, Conservation and Heritage).

The director is responsible for the daily management of the centre and reports to the Steering Committee, as well as to the FASoS Faculty Board. The position is rewarded with 80 Solver hours per year. The centre receives an annual activity budget and is supported by a student assistant (0.1 FTE).

The position of director provides an opportunity to contribute to the visibility of existing research, and to extend your network by instigating new lines of inquiry and collaboration within Maastricht University and beyond.

Reminder: vacancy for extraordinary member Assessment Support Team

The Assessment Support Team is looking for an extraordinary member.

The AST provides advice to FASoS staff regarding exam formats and exam content (before an exam is administered). It is also responsible for the faculty’s assessment policy, and for FASoS’s implementation of the new UM vision on assessment.

Its current members are Josje Weusten, John Harbord and Jacob Ward. The team reports to the Faculty Board and is coordinated by Robin Dirix.
