CHANCE extracurricular compact course, on 29 & 30 September and 1 October

The Jean Monnet Chair in EU Politics in a Changing Global Context (CHANCE) invites bachelor’s and master’s students (and staff members) to the extracurricular compact online course “EU Climate Change and Energy Policy”.

The course consists of lectures, discussions and interactive exchanges. Please find the course book here.

When: 29 and 30 September (18.30 – 20.30) and 1 October (10.00 -12.00)

The course will explore the following topics: EU Emissions Trading System, UNFCCC, COP Conferences, Kyoto Protocol, Paris Agreement, EU Green Deal, EU Energy Union and its implications for domestic politics, international relations and geopolitics.

The course is organised and taught by Niklas Mayer, research assistant to Dr. Giselle Bosse’s Jean Monnet Chair in EU Politics in a Changing Global Context (CHANCE).

Although this is an extracurricular course, the JM chair would be happy to provide students with formal letters at the end of the course, confirming course attendance, performance and learning outcome. There are no exams or final papers for this extracurricular course.
