Professor Dr Christine Neuhold has been appointed, per 1 May 2013, as Extraordinary Professor on the Special Chair in the field of Democratic Governance in the European Union (EU). Christine Neuhold analyses the phenomenon of democratic legitimacy of the EU. More particularly she examines the implications of institutional reforms for parliaments and the consequences of the delegation of tasks to non-elected, bureaucratic actors within parliamentary bodies.
