Christine Neuhold, Giselle Bosse and Gergana Noutcheva awarded funding

Christine Neuhold, Giselle Bosse and Gergana Noutcheva obtained grants by the Jean Monnet Programme.

Christine has been awarded a Jean Monnet project grant for her research on ‘Spreading and Relating EU affairs Beyond the EU Institutions’ (RELAY). This is a joint project with Felix Ruiz Cabre, UM Campus Brussels, that aims to relay EU affairs to a broad array of stakeholders. As such, it brings together a number of academic and non-academic partners.

Giselle and Gergana have both been awarded with a Jean Monnet Chair on ‘EU Politics in a Changing Global Context’ (Giselle) and ‘Europe Undivided: Democracy and Integration 30 Years After the Fall of the Berlin Wall’ (Gergana).

UM is also a partner in a Jean Monnet Network on Rethinking European Power in an Era of Turmoil (RENPET) that has received a 3-year grant. The network, coordinated by Leiden University, consists of ten European universities and one University Association (UACES). Gergana Noutcheva and Anna Herranz Surralles are the FASoS researchers involved in the network.
