Christine Neuhold has been interviewed by Observant on her appointment as dean of FASoS. Christine will take over from current dean Sophie Vanhoonacker on 1 September 2020.
Christine explains she was at first a bit hesitant to apply for the position of dean, as it is such a large responsibility to take on. Rianne Letschert’s speech about a new HR policy at UM was the decisive factor to take on the position. In her previous position as chair of the department of Political Science she noticed that the existing HR policy was a big issue. She is thus happy to be able to start diversifying this policy.
