The FASoS Faculty Board held two meetings: on 12 and 26 April.
Decisions
• The Faculty Board agreed to the proposals in the framework of Added Research Time (ART) and Stimulering Europees Onderzoek (SEO) 2017/2018.
• The Board positively advised to transform the special chair ‘European Democratic Governance’ into a full professorship in 2017.
• The Board also positively advised to extend the special chair ‘Comparative regional history, in particular of Limburg and bordering regions’, for another five years. Because the current chair holder will retire in 2018, the recruitment for a successor will start in 2017.
• The Solver hours for administrative roles 2017/2018 have been determined. They can be found on MyFASoS – organisation – Faculty Board – solver hours.
Announcements
• After a year of inactivity, the new board of Mosaïek has revived this project and will publish the first issue of their Magazine this academic year. The Board has granted Mosaïek €500 for this publication.
