The Faculty Board of FASoS held meetings on 13 and 27 May. For an overview of the decisions and announcements, see below.
- Prof. Wiebe Bijker has agreed to take on the position of confidential advisor for postdocs.
- The FB approved the publication of a booklet with poems, drawings and photographs by FASoS staff and students.
- Due to the continuing COVID-19 situation in which there are no students on campus, it will be difficult for the current Student Representatives (SR) to find, interview and select the student members for the academic year 2020/2021 on time. Therefore, the FB agreed to prolong the appointment of a number of student members with a maximum of two months (from 1 September until 1 November 2020). This prolongation will ensure that the SR can continue interviewing and selecting the new group of student reps.
- The Faculty Board accepted the Midterm Assessment Research self-evaluation report.
- FASoS will join the Netherlands Graduate School of Linguistics as an institutional member.
