From April 30 to May 4, 2014, Maastricht will host the largest Model United Nations conference in continental Europe – “EuroMUN2014”. The conference, now in its 7th year, attracts over 500 internationally minded students from around the world. Over five days, students gather to discuss and debate the latest international developments in their areas of interest. EuroMUN2014 has 13 different committees for you to choose from, so what is your area of interest? Committees range from the more general UN Security Council and European Parliament to the more specialist European Court of Human Rights or the UN Office on Drugs and Crime – you are bound to find a committee that suits you! Throughout the conference, EuroMUN2014 offers a jam-packed schedule of exclusive social events across Maastricht, an international career fair at the MECC and inspirational speakers from international organizations around the world. For 2014, we are also offering two pre-program opportunities for participating students to visit Brussels or Berlin for a few days leading up to the conference to tour international institutes in these two exciting cities.
