The Jean Monnet Chair in EU Politics in a Changing Global Context (CHANCE) is delighted to invite all bachelor’s and master’s students (and staff members) to participate in the extracurricular course “EU International Relations and Climate Change”.
This is an online course, which will take place from 2 February to 18 May 2021 (Tuesdays between 18.30 to 20.30).
For more information and registration, please contact: n.mayer@maastrichtuniversity.nl.
The course will explore both the impact of climate change consequences (such as sea level rise, drought and climate change migration) on the EU and the way how the EU addresses climate change challenges in its foreign policy. The course is organised and taught by Niklas Mayer, research assistant to Dr. Giselle Bosse’s Jean Monnet Chair in EU Politics in a Changing Global Context (CHANCE).
The course consists of lectures, discussions and interactive exchanges. Please find the course book here.
Although this is an extracurricular course, we (JM chair) would be happy to provide students with formal letters at the end of the course, confirming course attendance, performance and learning outcome.
