The Faculty Board of FASoS would like to share an overview of its latest decisions and announcements (previous Faculty Board announcements and decisions are listed as well).
Decisions
• The composition of the selection committees in charge of the hiring of lecturers and teaching assistants for 2014 has been determined.
• The Board agreed to give financial support to 1) Concordantia for their annual alumni board dinner (600 euros); and 2) UN Student Association Maastricht for the organisation of EuroMUN (3000 euros).
Announcements
• The Faculty Board discussed the recently introduced Admissions Boards BA and MA programmes. The BA Admissions Board is formally composed of the staff members involved in the matching procedure. The MA Admissions Board is composed of staff members involved in admission decisions. Both Boards will also deal with appeal cases against rejected admissions.
