In the last meeting before the new year, we discussed employability, the faculty budget change, ICT supplies and the personal strategic plan.
First, questions regarding the last budget change were clarified. Then the student members of the Faculty Council presented updates concerning the Student Representatives FASoS employability proposal. We want to make sure all students receive the best support possible regarding career opportunities. The discussion was well-received by students and staff. The Student Representatives will be working on setting up a network of students and staff members to take stock of current issues. At a later stage, we will brainstorm how and at which level solutions can be found.
Staff affairs included discussions on ICT supplies as well as the strategic personnel plan. We concluded the meeting by wishing each other all the best for the remainder of this calendar year since the next Faculty Council meeting will take place in January.
