On Wednesday 15 January we are going to say goodbye to our wonderful colleague Nico Baakman, who is retiring.
We would like to celebrate this first by discussing his latest work in progress. After this, we will toast to Nico and we all have the opportunity to tell him how much we are going to miss him.

Nico is currently finalising his manuscript ‘Het verdriet van de democratie’, and he would like to discuss this with us. As the title indicates, this first part of this farewell party will be in Dutch. Nico will present his work, and several of the chapters will be discussed by our colleagues Tannelie Blom, Sjaak Koenis, Arnold Labrie, Klaartje Peters and Bernard Rulof.
