Our colleague Pieter Caljé will officially retire on Sunday 15 October 2017. We will honour Pieter for his pivotal role at FASoS during a farewell reception to be held at Grand Café Maastricht Soiron, Vrijthof 18, on Thursday 12 October, 15.00-18.00. On behalf of the Department of History all Faculty members are cordially invited to join the reception.
Pieter has been a key player in the history of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and its Department of History. During his affiliation with Maastricht University since 1991 and with FASoS since 1994 he has contributed tremendously to the various teaching programmes of our Faculty.
