FASoS call for SEO Marie Curie visiting fellow applications

FASoS has opened a call for its staff to apply for SEO (Stimulating European Research) funding, track 5 ‘Marie Curie visiting fellow applications’. Within this track you can request funding to invite promising postdocs for one or two months, with the aim of writing a Marie Curie fellowship application to be carried out at FASoS. Please apply before Thursday 15 December. Please contact Lidwien Hollanders for more information.

How to apply?

You need to submit to Lidwien Hollanders:
• CV of the candidate;
• An invitation letter by either the department chair, the research programme director, or research centre director at FASoS with explicit support of the application. The letter also clarifies who will be the responsible mentor at FASoS during her/his stay at FASoS;
• A short outline of the candidate’s tasks during her/his stay at FASoS.

Upon receiving the grant the candidate needs to submit a written approval assuring to give proper credits to FASoS in case of publications resulting from the time at FASoS. Moreover, she/he must commit her-/himself to submitting the application to us, and not any other institution. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered and the candidate will receive a workspace at FASoS.

Deadline: 15 December 2016.

Decision procedure and criteria
OTO will write an advice to FB regarding all proposed applications. The advice + proposals shall be submitted to the Faculty Board for approval.

As a researcher invited to FASoS on basis of an SEO grant, you need to write a short report at the latest six months after its end. In this report, please describe how you carried out your tasks and if you have achieved your goals. Please send this report to the research policy officer Lidwien Hollanders.
