The FASoS CPD assignment design workshop, which takes place on 26 May from 13.00 – 15.30 and is hosted by Patrick Bijsmans & Mirko Reithler, looks at what many consider to be one of the most challenging aspects of PBL course development.
Participants are expected to do some preparatory work in advance. The workshop itself will focus on improving each other’s assignments.

This online workshop looks at one of the most challenging aspects of PBL course development, namely assignment design. Ahead of the workshop, participants will be asked to read related literature and distribute one of their own assignments. After a joint discussion of do’s and don’ts in PBL assignment design, we will take a very hands-on perspective by having participants work on improving each other’s assignments. This workshop will be particularly interesting to colleagues who are in the process of (re-)designing courses.
