FASoS garden project

As you may have noticed when you have been at FASoS the past days, landscaping work has started on the backside of FASoS.

To make FASoS more sustainable, the FASoS Green Impact team of 2020, consisting of FASoS staff Sjoerd Stoffels and John Harbord and FASoS students Hanne Schäfer and Charlotte Lenhard, came up with ‘project FASoS green space’. The aim of the project is to convert the “barren concrete space” into “a sustainable green space that will provide a pleasant space for students and staff to collaborate on work, relax and walk peacefully.”

The basic costs of taking out the pavement, planting trees and flowers, etc. are covered in large part by the faculty. We will start a crowdfunding soon to ‘decorate’ the garden, with for example benches, insect hotels, etc.
