Johanna Höffken, who completed her PhD at FASoS, has been elected Dutch teacher of the year. Johanna currently works as assistant professor in innovation studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology. With the election comes a scholarship of €25.000 which Johanna will spend on educational innovation.
Due to the corona crisis, the award ceremony took place online. Minister of Education, Culture and Science Ingrid van Engelshoven announced the winner in a congratulatory video.
According to Eindhoven university’s rector magnificus Frank Baaijens, “Johanna is a role model par excellence for our students, and a source of inspiration for everyone.”
