The next basic feedback workshop with John Harbord will take place online, on Wednesday 16 December from 13.30 – 15.30.
The workshop is open to all teaching staff and is worth 2 CPD hours. It focuses on responding to student writing, and will explore formative feedback and techniques to maximise student learning, with hands-on discussion exercises.

An advanced feedback workshop (TBA in January), is aimed at staff who have already attended the basic workshop. It focuses on the deeper questions, including who gives feedback to whom, when, where and why, and how these underpin differences such as formative/summative, and feedback/feedforward. Of interest to course coordinators, but also to those seeking a deeper understanding of feedback. This workshop is open to staff who have attended the basic workshop and are participating in CPD. The workshop is worth 2 CPD hours.
