FEM Lunch: What is in it for men?, on 4 May

On 4 May, FEM Maastricht University is organising an online lunch on the topic of men and feminism.

FEM hosts this event together with Chris Pawley, Fèlix Ruiz Cabré and Christoph Rausch to discuss the involvement of men in the work done by FEM.

The question of the role of men in FEM activism, and how men’s participation in gender justice movements could strengthen feminist efforts will be approached.

You can register here.

This discussion will be based on the screening of this TED talk by Kimmel (Why Gender Equality Is Good for Everyone — Men Included). After the screening, the discussion will be opened. Both participants and guests speakers interact to discuss this very relevant topic.

Everyone is welcome to sign up for the lunch. Since most of the FEM lunches do not have many male participants, FEM would strongly encourage them to join as well.
