Studium Generale organises a lecture series on film analysis. Film analysis is the process by which a film is analysed in terms of visuals, sound, editing and narration. Analysing film will help us to understand the effectiveness of filmmakers’ intentions and messages, as well as our own interpretations of the final visual product.
The series start on Wednesday 4 November. Make sure to register beforehand.
Each topic will be illustrated by many film clips from different periods and by different directors. The presentations will also be linked to films currently being shown at the film theatre.
