Former FASoS Dean Rein de Wilde accepts position at Dutch Open University

Former FASoS dean Rein de Wilde has been appointed dean of the Humanities and Law faculty of the Open University. As of 1 May, De Wilde will join the headquarters of the Open University in Heerlen. FASoS congratulates De Wilde on this great position and thanks him for everything he has done for FASoS.

We wish him all the best in his new job and will give FASoS staff members the opportunity to do the same in an informal gathering (more information will follow). We hope to be able to welcome him back at FASoS regularly.

The Open University (OU) is the part-time University of the Netherlands and Flanders. There are over 15.000 students at the OU. Teaching and research is done within seven scientific areas: Educational sciences, Psychology, Cultural sciences, Law and Management, Science & Technology. The OU has 15 study centres in the Netherlands and 6 in Belgium.
