Are you ready? The FASoS graduation ceremonies will take place onsite again this year! We are super excited to be able to welcome all graduates of the academic year 2020/2021 to the FASoS graduation ceremonies.
In June, we had already communicated on what dates the ceremonies would take place. Please note that there is one tiny date and time change for the MA European Studies on Society, Science and Technology and the MA Globalisation and Development Studies. In summer, you probably received an email from the Board of Examiners that you have complied with the requirements of your study programme and have graduated. Back then, you could not register for the graduation ceremony yet, but now you can! Please note that registration is mandatory to be able to participate in the graduation ceremonies. You can register via this form.
We will make a livestream available of the graduation ceremonies so your family and friends at home can watch you graduate as well!
FASoS does not have a particular dress code for graduation ceremonies. However, during the past couple of years many students expressed their wish to wear caps and gowns during their graduation ceremony. In order to make sure that all graduates (who wish to wear the academic dress) are wearing the same caps and gowns, the faculty has made an agreement with the Caps and Gowns company.
Graduates who wish to wear a cap and gown during their graduation ceremony can purchase it using the order form on the FASoS graduation website.
You will receive a black cap and gown and a purple tassel with a customised FASoS tag. Graduates can choose to order a single tassel as a keepsake as well. All details about prices and shipping/pick up options can be found on the order forms.
