Help needed in completing European Commission survey

The European Commission has started a comprehensive study on the cooperation between higher education institutions and public and private organisations in Europe. Your help is highly appreciated. Completing the survey takes about 15 minutes and all responses will remain anonymous. We kindly ask you to complete the survey before Friday 11 November.

Dear university researchers, lecturers and professors,

Dear technology transfer and university-business cooperation staff,

Successful cooperation between higher education and the business sector bring substantial benefits to higher education institutions, their academics and students, as well as to companies, their staff, and to society as a whole. To get a better understanding of this cooperation, and the potential barriers and key success factors involved the European Commission has contracted a wide-ranging study on cooperation between higher education institutions and public and private organisations in Europe.

The survey will be the most comprehensive one of its kind ever undertaken in Europe, involving all European universities and over 1,000 businesses. It will help inform appropriate policy making aimed at improving future partnerships between higher education institutions and external organisations.

Whether you have experience cooperating with external stakeholders or not, we are relying on your input as your involvement is crucial to the value of the study.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and all responses will remain anonymous. We kindly request that you complete the survey before 11/11/2016.

To participate: complete the survey in the European language of your choice: www.survey.ub-cooperation.eu

Get the opinion of your external collaboration partnersAs the study is two-sided, we would like to ask you to invite your external collaboration partners to take part by sending them the following link: www.survey.ub-cooperation.eu

As a token of thanks, on completion of the survey, you can choose to receive a Cooperation Readiness Assessment* for yourself / your organisation, which provides insight to assist your future collaboration with the business sector.

It is only with your assistance that this study can be successful and produce constructive results. The European Commission thanks you in advance for your support.

Sincerely,

Denis Crowley

Head of Unit
