Important change IAM from 3 March onwards

At UM, the IAM (Identity and Access Management) project currently takes care of the automated creation of accounts and authorisations. Both from the point of view of information security (GDPR and segregation of duties) and data quality, it is of great importance that the creation and cancellation of accounts takes place via controlled and uniform processes. IAM takes care of that.

An important step here is that employees receive an email message when their account is terminated. They receive this message 30 days and 7 days before the account ends. Up to now, such notifications were never sent.

It is possible that an account does not have to be terminated. In that case, the employee must contact his/her supervisor. He/she will then contact HR (assistant/consultant).

Extending an account will not be implemented anymore via the ICT Service Desk; an account can only be active with a valid registration in the HR system.
