The FASoS Faculty Board held two meetings on 7 and 21 February.
Decisions
- The Faculty Board has decided to subsidise the publication of the research programme AMC with an amount of €1000. The book is titled ‘Engaged humanities. Rethinking public life’.
- The Board supports the Debating Event in April 2018 (organised by Rhetorica Debating Society Maastricht) with an amount of €400.
- The Faculty finances the participation of one academic staff member and five students in the Graduate Liberal Studies (GLS) Symposium, which in 2018 takes place in Stanford. The total is €3,750 and USD 600.
Announcements
- FASoS will continue its membership of the Netherlands Graduate Research School WTMC in the years 2018-2023. Currently, 30 academics (in total 10 fte) staff and eight PhD candidates are members.
