Are you interested in participating in or setting up an Innovative Training Network? Are you looking at possibilities of involving third parties such as societal organisations and industries in your project? In that case, the valorisation information session on Thursday 24 September might be of interest to you. Registration is open until Monday 21 September. The location will be in the Inner City (details follow after registration).
Through participation in an Innovative Training Network (ITN; part of the EU Marie Sklodowska Curie programme), researchers are given the opportunity to experience different sectors and develop their transferable skills by working on joint research projects. Partners from in and outside academia are involved. ITNs bring together universities, research centres, societal partners and companies from different countries worldwide to train a new generation of researchers. The funding boosts scientific excellence and business innovation, and enhances researchers’ career prospects through developing their skills in entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
The next UM information session on valorisation activities will take place on Thursday 24 September, from 12.00-13.00. Prof. Hildegard Schneider, Dean of the Faculty of Law, will present her experiences with ITNs and specifically her experiences in working with third parties.
