From March 2019 until July 2019 the Stuttgart Region European Office is looking for a motivated intern. As an intern, you will be working in Brussels and get the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the work of the European Institutions and of regional representations. The European Office of the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation and the
Verband Region Stuttgart represent the interests of the region in Brussels.
Your Tasks:
- Preparing and attending events and workshops and report back to the offices in Brussels and Stuttgart on the content presented
- Research on current developments in the areas of innovation policy, energy, transport, the environment, media and the creative industries, as well as funding schemes and call for proposals
- Support the team in its collaboration with European networks, such as ERRIN
- Supervising the schedule and assist with general office work
Your Profile:
- Great interest in European Politics in general and regional policies in a European context in particular
- Native level German, excellent command in spoken and written English, French an advantage
- First intern experiences and/or stays abroad desirable
- Internship has to be part of the curriculum
