Hi colleagues, about a month ago I had my first (online) workday as HR advisor at FASoS. Via this message, I would like to tell a little more about myself.
My name is Jordy Friedrich. I’m 28 years old and I live in Maastricht with my fiancé and two cats. After my studies at University College Maastricht, I obtained my master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Amsterdam. Through several HR positions in the past seven years (consultancy and non-profit), I ended up in the sector Academic Education (previously Open University in Heerlen) two years ago.
Next to my work, I love doing sports (especially powerlifting, judo and hiking) and I like to watch series and films. I also love to ride my motorcycle together with my fiancé, brother and brother-in-law (for those into motorcycles: I own a Honda CB1300 Black Edition).
I have been working at UM since November 2019. Until April, I was responsible for HR-related activities at the FHML schools CAPHRI and NUTRIM. I am super excited to be starting at FASoS and I hope to meet you all very soon!
