My name is Judith Van Puyvelde. In February I joined FASoS as a PhD candidate in the LIMES project under supervision of Nico Randeraad.
My research focuses on ‘The Atelier Glasschilderkunst F. Nicolas en Zonen in Roermond’. The archive of this stained-glass workshop has recently been conserved and partly digitised by the Centre for Social History of Limburg (SHCL).
I obtained my master’s degree in Art History from the KU Leuven. During my master year I did an internship at the archive Cultureel Erfgoed Annuntiaten Heverlee where I studied the correspondence, business archive and vast collection of cartoons of the late tapestry school. This experience spiked my interest for decorative arts.
