Laura is joining the FASoS in the ERC NestIOr research project “Who gets to live forever? Toward an Institutional Theory on the Decline and Death of International Organisations” as a doctoral researcher/PHD candidate. Here, she will do her research in the policy field of energy and environmental politics. Also, she will contribute to the theory building within the research.
She received both her Bachelor’s and most recently, her Master’s degree in Political Science/International Political Theory from the University of Hamburg (Germany). During her Master studies she spent a semester abroad at the Global Studies department of the University of Gothenburg (Sweden).
Laura’s research focuses on the making as well as the crisis of the international order and the reproduction of power, especially through practices, norms and background knowledge. She also developed an expertise on the implications of the War on Terror in Afghanistan throughout her studies. At the University of Hamburg she taught a tutoring class on the Introduction of Political Science and academic writing.
