Merhaba (Hi in Turkish) everyone, my name is Özlemnur Ataol, and I am ecstatic to start my new adventure at FASoS as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Philosophy, where I will be joining the Circular City Challenge project starting September 8th.
I am an urban planner and researcher focusing on participatory urban planning and management with underrepresented groups, such as children, towards creating inclusive and sustainable cities.
I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and a Master of Science in Architectural Design from Istanbul Technical University, as well as a PhD in Urbanism and Urban Architecture from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
My research interest and experience include art-based participatory research methodologies.
I am a bike enthusiast who enjoys exploring the Netherlands and around on their road bike. Next to that, in my spare time, I play the drums and read science fiction.
I am looking forward to meeting all my colleagues at FASoS.
