ISN Maastricht is the International Student Network here in Maastricht, part of the larger Erasmus Student Network, ESN: an international organisation for providing students from all over the world with the time of their lives during their studies.
ISN organises parties, casual nights, cultural events, sports events, charitable events, trips, and many more. We want to be your home away from home – students helping students!
What will you do?
Together with your fellow board members, you will organise an exciting year full of different challenges, opportunities and a great events. As a representative of ISN, you and the rest of the board are responsible for the organisation as a whole. You will also lead a committee that will support you in these tasks – So teamwork and leadership are important, but don’t forget to have fun!
The treasurer is responsible for all the finances and bookkeeping of ISN Maastricht. As the treasurer you are there to ensure that money is well spent. That being said, one of the most important tasks as treasurer is making a budget for the academic year. The treasurer is also the one keeping track of all transactions made as well as keeping track of the cash flow in the office. None the less, the treasurer keeps the board up to date on financial matters.
What will you learn?
Teamworking and leadership are of course a big skill point that being in a board will help you improve in, but also your communications skills, organising, time management and alike will improve. Overall being in a board helps you develop yourself and gain skills you didn’t even know!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious student, Dutch or international! Ideally, we are looking for someone who can spend full time on ISN, but it can be discussed as part-time position.
