It is time for your annual password change @UM

At the beginning of 2019, we all set a new password that was valid for a maximum period of one year. The introduction of the new password policy was phased in to ensure that people would not all need to change their password at the same time one year later.

However, due to the cyberattack in December 2019, we were all forced to change our passwords again on 2 January 2020. This means that the current password will expire almost simultaneously for most employees and students in January 2021.

As you can imagine, it is not desirable for all UM students and employees to have to change their password at the same time, especially at a time when many employees and students are on holiday.

We would therefore encourage you to change your password as soon as possible, so you can start the Christmas holidays with peace of mind. This also means there will be no surprises when you return. Changing your password in good time will prevent you from being unable to log in after your holiday and blocking your account.
