JPI More Years, Better Life

The 2020 JPI call More Years, Better Life “Equality and Wellbeing across Generations” seeks research proposals that improve our understanding of how demographic change is altering the implicit contract between generations and how policy can ensure that change reduces inequality instead of increasing it.

International consortia consisting of participating countries are invited. The launch is postponed, a new deadline will be announced soon.

Specifically, the call deals with three aspects of inequality:

  1. Income and wealth
  2. Caring responsibilities
  3. Social and political participation

Each application may address one, two or all three of these topics. It is important to note that not all countries participating in this call are providing funding for all topics. A proposal can address multiple topics, but researchers can only receive funding for their activities under a topic funded by their funding organisation. Therefore researchers seeking funding for their proposal should consult the website of JPI More Years, Better Life.
