Together with colleagues from the United Kingdom and Norway, Vincent Lagendijk has co-authored a chapter in volume “Advancing Energy Policy: Lessons on the integration of Social Sciences and Humanities”, edited by Chris Foulds and Rosie Robinson. This open source volume (get it for free online) breaks new ground in combining various social scientific and humanties perspectives.
It therefore combines a large group of authors working together on interdiscplinary chapters. The chapter by Lagendijk, Bolton, Silvast, and Szulecki comprises a conversation about their research and policy engagements, working within History, Political Science, Sociology, and Science and Technology Studies, in the light of studying European energy systems.
