Maarten Vink appointed ROA Research Fellow

Professor of Political Science Maarten Vink has been appointed research fellow at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), a research institute of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE).

The overarching research theme of ROA is the acquisition and depreciation of human capital over the life course in relation to the dynamics of the labour market. ROA collaborates nationally and internationally with several academic researchers and research institutes. To further bolster research efforts and to improve the quality of research, ROA has developed a research fellow network with external economists and researchers in affiliated disciplines. A ROA fellowship lasts for the period of three years.

Maarten Vink is currently spending several months in Malmö, Sweden, where he has been appointed as Willy Brandt Guest Professor at the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM) at Malmö University. There, he will collaborate with colleagues in Malmö on comparative analyses in the context of his ERC-project MiLifeStatus, present first research results and give a number of guest lectures.
