Marble projects 2016 open for 3rd year students

Very motivated AC/CW and ES-students have the option to enrol in the 3rd year Marble projects. The projects run in period 4 and 5 and replace other parts of the curriculum. The deadline for application is Monday 23 November. For more information please contact Pieter Caljé or see the brochure.

Marble is part of the Excellence program of this faculty, and is funded by the Dutch Department of Education. Third year Marble includes a wide variety of challenging projects, all aimed at teaching bachelor students to do research. The projects run in period 4 and 5. For AC/CW they include the thesis.

As it is part of our Excellence program, Marble is selective. The best 25% of each program are directly invited to participate. However, very motivated students somewhat below that mark have participated successfully in the past, so those students may apply as well. It is essential, however, not to have additional resits in the Marble-period.

Students interested in the Marble program should mail Pieter Caljé before November, 23rd a letter of motivation with their first and second choice. Further information about the projects, and the rules and regulations of Marble you will find in the brochure. On Eleum, under Organizations – FASoS-Marble in which all 3rd-year students are enrolled, there is a FAQ-tab as well.
