MaRBLeous seminar: call for proposals

Five years ago, Maastricht University started MaRBLe, an excellence programme that allowed bachelor’s students to work with supervisors and research groups on research that matters. During a MaRBLeous Seminar on Wednesday 18 June, (Former) MaRBLe students are invited to give a 20-minute presentation on their MaRBLe project to an open audience of students, professors and other university staff. Send your proposal to before Saturday 26 April.

This seminar aims to bring together current and former MaRBLe students, researchers and lecturers, to learn from past experience and to jointly work on plans for the future.

Your proposal should contain the following information:

  • Your student information such as name, ID, Faculty, MaRBLe Project and tutor.
  • A discription of your research project, its relevance, research question and theoretical framework. If possible, provide a short summary of preliminary results and/or conclusions. Pay attention to the clarity of your research question and the coherence between your research question, methods and conclusions. -> Length: approximately 500 words, including references.
  • A reflection on what you have learned from your participation in the MaRBLe programme and your individual research project. -> Length: approximately 300 words.

The best entry will be presented during the symposium part of the seminar.
